The property was originally listed in 2023 for $60 million but was most recently re-listed for $47 million before dropping off. According to co-listing agent Pogir Pogir, the new price tag is due to the 3.74 acres that were previously not listed with the property.

The home was originally built for Italian count Pio Crespi in 1938. It was designed by Swiss architect Maurice Fatio, who had been known for his designs in Palm Beach and New York.

The estate underwent a major renovation after being bought by former Texas Rangers owner Tom Hicks. The main house now boasts 27,092 square feet. The property is located in the exclusive Preston Hollow neighborhood Mayflower Estates.

In addition to the 10 bedroom, 12 bathrooms and five half-bathrooms, the property includes a ballroom, conservatory, an Art Deco bar, two wine cellars, a pool house and more.

Since 2019, the estate has been owned by the Charlee Lochridge Cox Dynasty Trust, a trust associated with the Cox family of Dallas. More information about the listing can be found here.
