Jesuit Dallas beat Southlake Carroll 2-1 Tuesday and will advance to the UIL state soccer semifinals. After a scoreless first half, senior Noah McGough earned the game’s first goal to give the Rangers the lead. Senior Clyde Araiza put the ball in the net during overtime to secure the win.
Jesuit (21-1-0) will now face Mesquite High at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 5 at Garland ISD’s Homer B. Johnson Stadium. The winner will travel to Georgetown’s Birkelbach Field for the state championship April 12.
