Ten50 BBQ opened its doors to a new second location at 5519 W Lovers Lane this week.
The Central-Texas style barbeque restaurant is known for its “low and slow” cooking techniques and no-shortcuts approach to quality meat and scratch-made sides.
Created by Preston Evans and his late father, John Evans, the restaurant first opened in Richardson in 2014. The restaurant has a deep-rooted family tradition and a shared passion for authentic barbecue. Evans said the restaurant remains a tribute to his father and their shared values.
“We’ve always believed that great food doesn’t need to be fussy, Evans said. “Our intention has never been to reinvent barbecue — just to present it with purpose, pride, and a slightly different personality.”

Customers can expect a full lineup of delicious smoked favorites: USDA Prime brisket, Duroc Heritage pork ribs, smoked chicken and turkey, and the signature torpedoes—jalapeños stuffed with brisket or chicken and wrapped in bacon. If that wasn’t enough to convince you, the menu also includes a new smoked turkey club and a pulled pork sandwich with vinegar-based coleslaw and crispy fried onions.
Guests will enjoy hybrid table service, with dishes plated and delivered directly, offering a more curated and elevated experience than the traditional pit line in Richardson.
The new location also features a full bar with six local craft beers on tap, while also offering wine and craft cocktails.
The restaurant is open Sunday through Wednesday from 10:50 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday from 10:50 a.m. to 10 p.m.
