Dallas’ runoff election for District 11 and District 8 is happening on June 7.
There is still time to cast an early vote, as it ends on Tuesday. You can cast a ballot today until 7 p.m. and tomorrow from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The sole early voting center for Preston Hollow is the Royal Lane Baptist Church.
The runoff election will decide whether Jeff Kitner or Bill Roth will take hold of Jaynie Schulz’s current District 11 city council seat.
There have been 1,549 early voting ballots cast so far as of 2 p.m. Monday, for the voting center.
In addition to the early voting center, Northhaven United Methodist Church, Benjamin Franklin IEA, and Churchill Recreation Center will serve as additional polling centers for the neighborhood for the runoff election.
Don’t forget that all voters must bring an acceptable form of identification. Acceptable forms include: a Texas driver’s license, a Texas personal ID card, a Texas election identification certificate, a U.S passport, a U.S military ID card, a Texas handgun license, or a U.S citizenship certificate with a photo.
