The city has given North Haven Gardens the green light to sell hens in its nursery.
The brakes had been put on hen sales after a neighbor complained—but after reviewing the city code, officials have decided that hens classify as accessories to North Haven Gardens’ product line.
The first official hen sale will be Saturday, Sept. 19.
