Hillcrest High School senior Jeff Wilke has been nominated as National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist for the 2008-2009 school year. That means he scored among the top 16,000 students nationally on the PSAT, and he will now be eligible for the National Merit Scholarship.
School Zone Dallas, a TV show hosted by DISD students, has been nominated for three Lone Star Emmys. The cast includes W.T. White High School senior Flaviano Graciano.
