This month we told you all the must-dos if you live in Preston Hollow. Among them was Molto Formaggio, and all the great free cheese samples you can enjoy there. I stopped in this weekend to do a little nibbling myself. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, they were happy to offer up suggestions, small talk, and samples. I must have tasted a dozen cheeses, but I ended up going with a nice smoked Gouda made with goat milk.
I also found out that this shop does cheese and olive trays for free—you just pay for the cheese and olives, they create your tray at no additional charge.
The Highland Park Village location also hosts monthly date nights and ladies nights with wine and cheese tasting. The January tastings are already booked, but the shop manager told me the February schedule should be up on the website by this Thursday.
