I stopped into the new Zinsky’s deli this week for a quick to-go breakfast. All the to-go orders are made at a counter in the back of the restaurant. I went with an ‘everything’ bagel, scallion cream cheese and lox, which was very good, and just about $4. Also, there’s a DIY to-go station where you can load up on all the deli pickles you’d like.

What struck me most about this place is how nice the digs are. Its décor makes it feel a little more like a chic eatery and less like a deli. They serve breakfast all day here—mostly omelets, a few platters, and breakfast sandwiches.

For lunch, there are dozens of sandwiches (hot and cold), hotdogs, soups, and salads. There are also nightly blue-plate specials that are about $10 and include soup or salad.
