If you want good sushi, there are quite a few worthy options—but most of them don’t also serve a mean bulgogi (that’s a Korean barbecued beef dish). But such is the case at Sushi Star, as I learned on my recent visit.

Sushi Star actually offers several of those harder-to-find Korean entrees, which make for nice option if you prefer your dinner cooked—as are the soba noodle bowls. I sampled the bulgogi (which I recommend you order with a fried egg on it),  a tuna-salmon roll, and pan-fried chicken dumplings, all of which I’d go back for again.

One nice feature: the prices here a little lower than most sushi bars (most rolls were about $7, and entrees were about $9). I also noted that there were several bento box lunch specials, dinner packages for larger parties, and a full bar.
