Neighborhood author Jennifer Boswell Pickens recently penned “Christmas at the White House,” a book that documents how first families have celebrated the holidays. The coffee table book is chockfull of photos and anecdotes that span the Kennedy through Bush administrations.
Pickens will be at Write Selection this Thursday for a book signing. If you swing by 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. you can enjoy free coffee, or if go for the afternoon session from 3-6 p.m., you’ll get free wine and cheese. No need to RSVP, you can just show up.
