Preston and Royal’s Dougherty’s Pharmacy is a neighborhood institution, but I’ve never really known all that much about the place and what makes it tick. Apparently, mixing custom perscriptions is one of the big things that drives business there, at least according to a DMN story. The place has corporate ownership now, but it’s committment to the neighborhood seems to remain the same.
