When I blogged about the opening of Nothing Bundt Cake at Preston Royal Village last month, it prompted some positive feedback: the cakes were actually called “awesome” (in all caps). I admit, I was a little skeptical. But after sampling it, I can say believe the hype.

The cake I sampled, which was so-kindly delivered by owner Wendy Moore, was the chocholate chocolate chip topped with cream cheese frosting (one of the top-sellers, I’m told). Advocate office consensus was that the cake was right on moist—and that buttery frosting was make-you-want-to-it-by-the-spoonful good.

You can order cakes to feed eight to 26 people, and there are about 10 flavors on the menu at any given time. When you order one of these cakes for delivery, they arrive all spruced up with ribbon and colorful tissues paper (as evidenced here in the photo we took). Plus, you can pick a color theme to fit an occasion, like a birthday.
