ALO will not reopen in its original Uptown location, which caught fire this summer. Owner Duni Borga told me today she and her husband Taco decided not to reopen there after a new owner took over the building.
“We’re looking at some potential new places, but we’re not in any rush,” she said.
In the meantime, customers still longing for Peruvian potato causas can find the full ALO menu at the La Duni off McKinney every Friday and Saturday night. The original chef from ALO is there every weekend.
