The Friends of Hillcrest High School and Franklin Middle School are accepting donated items and/or cash contributions for the annual fundraiser auction. The group is need of things like sports tickets, hotel nights, spa and restaurant gift certificates, and airline miles. Hillcrest and WT White high school communities, with the support of DISD Communications, are launching a pilot recruitment program with the theme “A Quality Education is Just Around the Corner.” The campaign will include a series of open house programs throughout February that aim to generate more awareness about outstanding DISD schools, many of which are in Preston Hollow.
