DISD’s “School Zone Dallas” will air on KERA at 5:30 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday, hosted at Marsh Middle School.
The news show is hosted by students across the district, including W.T. White students Brandon Nwannunu, Emmett J. Conrad and Julie Negussie. The students cover current events and issues related to the school district and the city.
“School Zone Dallas” is an Emmy-winning show, the first in a Texas district to receive such an award. The show also is produced in Spanish on KUVN Univision.
