Some new neighbors moved in Friday night in the 7500 block of Azalea and on their first night in their new home, they caught burglars trying to break into their car, which was parked in the back of the house – not the front.
Other incidents have occurred recently in the Hillcrest East neighborhood that may or may not be related. The alarm sounded at a home in 7200 block of Azalea, which the neighbor says has never happened before. Last month, someone stole all four tires and rims from a car parked in the driveway of a home on South Janmar.
