LBJ Express lane closures scheduled, open house April 21

You’ve probably noticed orange cones scattered around the edges of LBJ Freeway and the tree removal that happened a several weeks ago. The massive reconstruction project started at the I-35 connection and is already making its way near our neighborhood. We’ve been following the progress of the LBJ Express here on the blog. The project is working from the outside in, continuing this week on the frontage roads where workers will be installing utilities. Access roads along Coit near the High Five, Hillcrest and Montfort are next. Check here for a detailed schedule on daily lane closures.

Also, an LBJ Express open house is set for 1-8 p.m. Thursday, April 21 at the Sheraton North Dallas where neighbors can come by and receive updates and ask questions to the project managers.
