Award-winning indie folk singer Rebecca Loebe performs at 8 p.m. Friday at Uncle Calvin’s Coffeehouse inside Northpark Presbyterian Church. Loebe appeared on the premier episode of NBC’s “The Voice”. Within 24 hours, her version of Nirvana’s “Come As You Are” climbed to No. 7 on the iTunes Alternative chart. Admission to Friday night’s show is $12 in advance and $15 at the door.

Tiff’s Treats hosts its grand opening 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at its new location at Hillcrest and Northwest Highway. You can get a dozen cookies for just $3, and all sales benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas.

The Jewish Community Center begins its 25th annual Bagel Run at 8 a.m. Sunday – rain or shine. The race features a 5k and 10k with awards in several categories such as “fastest rabbi”. Registration is $25, and $8 for kids events. Participants can feast on bagels after the race.
