At about 8:30 p.m. Monday night, Dallas firefighters responded to call in the 3800 block of Crown Shore just a stone’s-throw away from Marsh Middle School. According to the Dallas Morning News, the fire escalated quickly, and a 59-year-old man confined to a wheelchair died before firefighters could rescue him.
The cause of the fire is still unknown at this point.
