Major LBJ lane closures Aug. 30 – Sept. 1

Here’s an update on several LBJ lane closures to prepare you for the weekend.

From 8 p.m. Aug. 30 to 6 a.m. Aug. 31 the following lanes will be closed due to re-striping of the main lanes of LBJ Freeway:

Eastbound

• The eastbound LBJ exit ramps to Preston, Hillcrest and Coit Roads will be closed.
• The entrance ramps from Inwood Road/Dallas Parkway, Montfort Drive, Preston Road and Hillcrest Road to eastbound LBJ will be closed.
• Various main lanes will also be closed.

Westbound

• The westbound exit ramps to Preston and Hillcrest Roads will be closed.
• The entrance ramps from Coit Road, Hillcrest and Preston Roads to westbound LBJ will be closed.
• Various main lanes will also be closed.

Major lane closures will occur from 10 p.m. Aug. 31 to 9 a.m. Sept. 1 along LBJ and the Dallas North Tollway due to partial demolition of the freeway.

LBJ Freeway closures

• The westbound LBJ exit ramp to southbound DNT will be closed.
• The eastbound LBJ exit ramp to northbound DNT will be closed.

Dallas North Tollway closures

• Various lanes will be closed on northbound and southbound DNT with full highway closures from Harvest Hill to Alpha Road.
• The northbound DNT exit ramp to westbound LBJ will be closed.
• The southbound DNT exit ramp to eastbound LBJ will be closed.
