The annual Komen Dallas Race for the Cure at NorthPark Center drew out a crowd of 22,000 participants to celebrate its 30th anniversary with the theme “Race together so no one races alone.”

The event is the largest fundraising event for local breast cancer screening treatment and education in Dallas. This year’s event on Oct. 20 was complete with tutus, pink bras and a 7-foot Hello Kitty costume.

The annual Survivors March brought out thousands of breast cancers survivors ranging from one year to 50 years. Photographer James Edward took these photos.
