John Batdorf and James Lee Stanley will perform their acoustic tribute to the Rolling Stones with songs from their All Wood and Stones CD Jan. 18. The 8 p.m. show at Uncle Calvin’s Coffeehouse costs $15 in advance and $18 at the door.
The Dallas Opera is partnering with the Dallas Public Library to present an operatic interpretation of “Jack and the Beanstalk” 2 p.m. Jan. 19. The event at Bachman Lake Branch Library’s Black Box Theater will be sung in English to the music of Sir Arthur Sullivan.
