DeGolyer is hosting its first Food, Fun and Fitness fair 5–8 p.m. April 4.

The fair will feature physical activities for both parents and their children. Adults can partake in free yoga, zumba, jazzercise and pilates sessions. The school nurse will also perform free blood pressure and BMI screenings.

Sports activities will be set up in the gym and outside for children, and healthy snacks like fruit, vegetables and drinkable yogurt will be provided.

The event is sponsored by Girl Scout troop 487 and the DeGolyer Coordinated School Health Committee.
