With the recent news that W.T. White alumnus Terrance Williams was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys – it’s no surprise there is plenty of sports talent trickling out of Preston Hollow.

On May 7 Preston Hollow resident Preston Harrington signed his national letter of intent to play golf at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington. The university is a NCAA Division I university in the Colonial Athletic Conference. Harrington, a Trinity Christian Academy senior, is a member of the TAPPS 5A Boys Golf State Championship Team, and recently finished in sixth place (individually) at the state tournament.

Another TCA student signed a national letter of intent May 7, but this time it’s for basketball. Preston Hollow resident Preston Troutt signed his national letter of intent to play basketball at the University of Pennsylvania. The university is a NCAA Division I university in the Ivy League Conference.
