Preston Hollow’s April Box Chamberlain will be awarded for her fundraising efforts by the Greater Dallas Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals at the 28th annual National Philanthropy Day luncheon in November.

Chamberlain, president and CEO of Methodist Health System Foundation and senior vice president of external affairs at Methodist Health System, has increased the foundation’s assets from $23 million to more than $100.3 million while serving on the board.

Before joining Methodist, Chamberlain created the Celebrating Women Luncheon as vice president of Baylor Health Care System Foundation. She is a recipient of the Dallas Business Journal’s 2009 Women in Business Change Maker Award and has previously given her time to numerous other organizations.

“We are proud to present and pay tribute to these outstanding individuals who exhibit incredible civic leadership and philanthropy,” says Kim Humphries, this year’s Dallas National Philanthropy Day Chair. “They are stewarding our communities, from charity to impact.”

Tickets are now available for the National Philanthropy Day luncheon, which will be held on Friday, Nov. 15, 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m., at Hyatt Regency Dallas. Tickets are $85 each, $850 for a table of ten, or $1,250 for a premium table of ten. After Oct. 18, ticket prices increase to $95 each.
