The Dallas Parks and Recreation Department announced via Facebook that the White Rock Creek Trail crossing at Park Central and 635 is officially open after being closed for the LBJ expansion project. All barricades and detour signs have been removed.
Also, the city just made the trails a little safer by installing brand new 911 locator signs on the Cottonwood Creek Trail. The numbers on the sign help 911 operators to know your exact location on the trail, should you need to call 911 while walking or biking the trail.
These sign locations have also been integrated into the City’s new 311 mobile app and can be used to report any issues there may be along the trail.
