Melody Paschall

Melody Paschall takes the helm as executive director of the W.T. White feeder pattern Wednesday, overseeing the elementary and middle schools that feed into W.T. White High School. She has 25 years of experience in education.

The feeder pattern’s outgoing director (and former W.T. White principal), Anita Hardwick, is retiring from her Dallas ISD career. Paschall build on that foundation.

For the last 18 months, Paschall has assisted several Texas school districts with strategic planning, specifically related to their alignment with the career readiness requirements of HB5. Prior to that, she worked in Irving ISD as the associate superintendent of schools for academic services, where she supported curriculum development, instruction, student support services and federal programs. Before that, she was the assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction in Coppell ISD, one of the highest performing school systems in Texas.

Paschall began her career as a teacher and taught for 11 years. She also has served as school principal at both the elementary and middle school levels. She has her superintendent’s certificate and is pursuing her doctorate in special education.
