If you still haven’t checked out the new “Abelló Collection” at the Meadows Museum at SMU, this weekend is a good time to stop by. Museum admission is free 1-5 p.m. Sunday, May 17.
That gets you into the aforementioned exhibit, a significant collection that is on view for the first time every outside of Spain. Also featured is “Human/nature. The Ridiculous and Sublime: Recent Works by John Alexander” and “The Meadows Collects: 50 Years of Spanish Art in Texas.”
