It’s the one time of year wearing a Beadazzled sweatshirt is not only acceptable but encouraged. Find the perfect holiday getup at That Ugly Christmas Sweater Store in Inwood Village.

The popup shop, owned by Preston Hollow native Mike Levine and his sister, Mindi Kahn, is open through Dec. 27.

“We’ve been doing wholesale for years, but this is our first brick and mortar store,” explains the shop’s manager, Dervis Garrido. “We thought it would be a fun experience. We wanted that connection with customers.”

Garments are priced according to tackiness — the uglier the sweater, the more it costs. Expect to spend between $10 and $48.

Levine and Kahn will donate a portion of the store’s proceeds to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. They’re sponsoring a gift drive for the hospital, too. Bring a new, unwrapped toy and receive 10% off your purchase.
