After getting rained out last week, the screening of the Disney favorite “Frozen” will take place this Friday, June 10. The evening, hosted by the Friends of the Northaven Trail, begins at 7 p.m. with pizza from Urban Crust, or bring your own picnic basket. The movie will play at dusk. The screening takes place on the trail near 10937 Edgemere, unless it rains. Check the Friends’ Facebook page to see if the screening is canceled before you head out to the trail, but this week’s gorgeous weather should mean a nice evening for movies under the stars.
Over at the Shops at Park Lane, another screening will take place in the open air at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. The beloved Pixar film “Finding Nemo” will be shown this week. Alcoholic beverages and food will be available for purchase at surrounding establishments.
The footwear and accessories giant Cole Haan has relocated its Dallas store to the NorthPark Center. To celebrate, the store is celebrating with a grand opening party this Saturday, June 11, from noon-4 p.m., with a live DJ, treats from Celebrity Café & Bakery and a gift with any purchase over $200.
