Enjoy the movie from your own picnic blanket or from one of the restaurants surrounding. The movie starts at 8:30 p.m. when the sun drops down. Alcohol is only available for purchase at the restaurants.

Over at Uncle Calvin’s, you can hear the folksy sound of 2 Bit Palamino, a Houston-based trio who regularly top the roots radio charts. Rachel Laven will open the night, who was named Best Female Vocalist in San Antonio. The show starts at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 24, and tickets are $15-$18 and available online.

The Museum of Biblical Art will open a new display on the works of Henrietta Milan, which will be exhibited for three months. The opening reception will be Sunday, June 26, from 2-4 p.m., when art enthusiasts will be able to enjoy 45 original oil paintings and meet Milan.

The NorthPark Center gets spicy this Saturday, June 25, with a dance demonstration from Luis Delgadillo of Salsa Dallas. It takes place at 3 p.m. in the NorthCourt between Nordstroms and Macy’s.
