A garage was burglarized Sunday in the 3900 block of Alta Vista Lane, according to the Northaven Park Neighborhood Association Crime Watch.

The suspect forcibly entered the garage between midnight and 6 a.m. and took several items, NPNA reports.

On Oct. 24,  someone rummaged through an open car overnight in the 3700 block of Whitehall Drive. Nothing was taken from the vehicle, but a bicycle was stolen from the home’s patio.

Two more burglaries were reported in October, as well.

We don’t have many details about the crimes and if they are related yet. But we do know in two instances the cars were left unlocked. If you live in the area, it may be good to follow NPNA’s advice: lock your car doors and don’t leave anything of value in them.
