Neighbors were in for a less than pleasant drive with nails strewn along the streets of Preston Hollow and the Park Cities.
Police have now arrested the suspect on an unrelated incident.
Thousands of roofing nails were found along Hillcrest, Preston Road, Northwest Highway, Mockingbird Lane, Royal and Park Lanes. Over 30 incidents, including flat tires, had been reported online, according to CBS News.
Plano Police arrested Kevin Genter, 45, on Oct. 24 for deadly conduct in connection to a shooting at a Toyota dealership parking lot.
Police have not yet identified a motive.
