Inwood Tavern worker could cut his beard for a good cause

The crew at Inwood Tavern is stepping outside the box for the holidays with a challenge for one of their teammates.

Jesus Varlea has quite the beard, it’s what many may know him for, but now he’s willing to say farewell to his facial locs and cut it off. The tavern has a goal to raise $2,000 within this week to host a big cut off event prior to Christmas.

“Should only we reach just $500 more there goes his long hair which may not be restored! All funds over Jesus’ $2,500 goal will benefit the Family Place to aid those who need more,” the description reads.

If the goal isn’t met, all funds will benefit The Family Place, a domestic violence resource nonprofit.
