Galleria Dallas will partner with the Dallas Museum of Art to spotlight a look at Saints, Sinners, and Fools: 300 Years of Flemish Masterworks.

This exhibit is organized by the Dever Art Museum in collaboration with The Phoebus Foundation. Saints and Sinners introduces more than 130 works from The Phoebus Foundation’s collection of Flemish artwork. The pieces illustrate the developments in art production that took place in Flanders from the 1400-1600s.

Shoppers at Galleria Dallas will have the opportunity to experience the exhibit and see reproductions of select paintings for no cost at the Gallery Wall. The exhibit will be located on Level 1 next to Sephora, from March 1-31. In addition to the Gallery Wall, the DMA’s Community Engagement Team will provide artmaking activities at Galleria Dallas for kids of all ages during Spring Break. The activities will take place on Level 3 near the Children’s Play Place on Mar. 7,9, 14, and 16th from 10 a.m. until noon.

Agustín Arteaga, the DMA’s Eugene McDermott Director, finds outreach such as the Galleria Dallas partnership an important part of the organization’s mission.

“The Dallas Museum of Art is committed to ensuring all North Texans have access to art,” Arteaga said. “The Gallery Wall opportunity provided by Galleria Dallas helps us to meet our community where they are.”

“Galleria Dallas has a long history of supporting art and art education,” said Galleria Dallas Director of Marketing Megan Townsend. “We are looking forward to reminding people of the amazing opportunities available at the Dallas Museum of Art, as well as having DMA staff and volunteers on-site to share experiences with our young visitors.”

The entire Saints, Sinners, Lovers, and Fools exhibit will be available at the Dallas Museum of Art through June 25. The exhibit explores a rich variety of themes that reflect the societal change of the time and the aspects of the human condition. Artists represented include Flemish masters such as Hans Memling, Jan Gossaert, Peter Paul Rubens, Jacob Jordaens, and Anthony van Dyck.
