Jesuit College Preparatory graduate and professional golfer Jordan Spieth revealed how he injured his left wrist before the AT&T Byron Nelson tournament.

It wasn’t a golf-related injury, but the result of Spieth playing with his son when “something popped and jammed,” according to the golfer. He got an MRI and consulted with multiple specialists the morning after he reported the injury to his doctors.

“There’s some damage there, but not enough to be massively concerning as long as I’m listening to it,” Spieth told Golf Digest.

The resulting diagnosis is a moderate grade tendon sheath tear, which could potentially get worse, according to Golf Channel. Despite his injury, Spieth played in the PGA Championship last week and tied for 29th place.

Taking his the pain from his injury week by week, Spieth is currently playing in the Charles Schwab Challenge.
