Dallas Mavericks CEO Cynt Marshall was the keynote speaker at the Owens Corning Women’s Summit on June 28.

The women’s summit was part of the Dana Open, a women’s professional golf tournament on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LGPA) tour played annually in Sylvania, Ohio. This year’s tournament will be held from July 10 – 16 at Highland Meadows Golf Club.

Ahead of the tournament, the women’s summit took place at the Glass City Center in Toledo, Ohio. Marshall, a Preston Hollow neighbor, spoke to attendees about positioning yourself with purpose and shared life lessons.

Over the span of her career, Marshall has gained several honors and awards for her work and was named as one of 15 of the most inspiring leaders by Forbes. In 2018, she took on the role of CEO for the Dallas Mavericks and was the the first Black female CEO of a team in NBA history.
