Dallas police officers were injured during a shooting call near the 3100 block of Community Drive near Love Field Airport around 3:10 a.m. on Sept. 14.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man shot in the leg and the victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition. The suspect was taken into custody on the scene.
While conducting their investigation, an uninvolved driver hit a marked squad car with one officer still inside. The impact resulted in the patrol car hitting three officers.
Dallas police reported that the injured officers were taken to a local hospital and are also in stable condition.
The driver remained at the scene, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
