Galleria Dallas announced North Italia will take over the former place of the Grill across from The Blue Fish. The new restaurant was first announced last summer.

The new space will have over 9,200 square feet and feature an indoor and outdoor seating area and a full bar according to Dallas Morning News. Rumors suggested an opening in December 2023, but construction is still ongoing.

North Italia has 37 other locations that span the nation in California, Florida and Arizona. Texas has a handful of locations in San Antonio, Austin, Houston and most recently Uptown Dallas near North Akard Street.

Although the full menu for the new location hasn’t been announced, the made-from-scratch menu features includes pizzas, fresh pasta, shareable appetizers and Italian-inspired cocktails.

Hours include Monday through Friday, 11 a.m to 11 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
