Providing mental health and developmental care, Dallas Metrocare Services has expanded to a new building on the intersection of Skillman and Forest Lane. The new space is a three-story high multi-tenant office totaling 63,000 sqft.

“The demand for mental health services has surged, a trend exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic,” Dr. John W. Burruss, Metrocare CEO, said. “As the largest behavioral health provider in Dallas County, Metrocare is dedicated to expanding access to quality care. Our recent property acquisition is a testament to this commitment, providing much-needed space to enhance and broaden our services and programs. Last year alone, we served over 51,000 individuals through almost 3,000 daily clinical encounters, delivering quality mental health care regardless of financial means. This expansion is a crucial step in meeting the unprecedented demand for mental health support in our community.”

The expansion was facilitated by Solender/Hall Inc., which aids nonprofits in real estate dealings.

“Metrocare continues to lead Dallas County in providing mental health services, ” Eliza Solender, Preston Hollow neighbor and president of Solender/Hall Inc., said. “This location will allow them to expand their services in the northeast portion of Dallas County.”
