After naming a new chef and updating its menu in June, the neighborhood Italian spot Ristorante Nicola closed its Preston Center location Saturday and will re-open as Nick and Sam’s Grill by early October.
Ristorante Nicola’s owner Richard Gussoni said in a press release that although the Plano location has been successful, “our concept didn’t really transfer to Park Cities.”
Nick and Sam’s Grill began as a spin-off of Nick and Sam’s Steakhouse, offering American comfort food in a bistro setting. All menu items are under $20.
