Sandwich and coffee from LDU

In the wake of Foxtrot’s closures earlier this week, Dallas’ coffee aficionados are seeking out their next java fix.

While we mourn the loss of Foxtrot, here are just a few gems to bode us over and keep us caffeinated.

LDU

Located on Preston Road near Central Market, LDU offers a fusion of European charm and Aussie brews. While it may not be the best spot for a work-from-home setup, their Magicman, long black, Captain America, and machoman brews are worth a sip.

Native

Just off Interstate 635, Native Coffee Company welcomes patrons with cozy vibes and ample natural light. Sourcing beans from around the globe, including The Netherlands, Slovenia, Ireland, and Japan, pairs perfectly with their commitment to social and environmental causes.

Merit

Merit is populated over Dallas with locations near Firefall Way and Preston Road. Its Art Deco charm is worthy of an Instagram snap. Its beans are sourced from Central America, South America and Africa.

Drip

Owned by coffee veteran Steve Thatcher, Drip’s flagship Lovers Lane location roasts beans daily from South America to Indonesia. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic cup of joe or something more adventurous like the Cereal Latte, Drip has you covered.

Houndstooth

While its based in Austin, Houndstooth has quickly become a classic here at Walnut Hill. Like the Scottish pattern that its namesake comes from, Houndstooth believes in a good pattern of coffee and people so you know you’ll get that consistent craft for all discerning caffeine connoisseurs.
