Don’t get us wrong: We fully appreciate all those 24-hour drive-through windows. But for diners who want to skip the midnight greasy meals in a sack, there’s The Quarter. Sure, at first glance it looks a lot more like a pub than a restaurant, but don’t mistake its fare for typical bar food. Instead, you can order off a full menu until 2 a.m. every day and get house specialties such as fall-off-the-bone tender baby-back ribs, which have won Best of Taste of Addison against some nearby barbecue joints. And there’s pizza, with classic and gourmet versions like shrimp scampi, muffuletta, roasted garlic and pesto chicken, or you can create your own version. And as an added bonus for late night diners, all pizzas are half-price after 11 p.m. daily. There’s also a hefty Cajun selection, with po-boys made from the owner’s family recipes. Or you can pick from the likes of bleu cheese burgers, fettucini alfredo, Mediterranean grilled chicken salad or Italian meatball sandwiches.
