Pogo’s, one of the best wine and spirits stores in the area, is adding more than 1,000 square feet to its usually cramped space on the Inwood Road side of Inwood Village.
Owner Harris Polakoff says the work should be done by the end of June. It will include more racks for more merchandise, a walk-in wine room for the good stuff (I saw some very nice 2005 Puligny-Montrachet when I was there the other day), and a tasting bar. The store acquired the extra space when the Campisi’s next door moved.
