Dallas ISD’s student-hosted TV program “School Zone Dallas” has been recognized by Texas School Business magazine for bettering the lives of students, schools, and communities. W.T. White High School senior Flaviano Graciano is a host on this year’s “School Zone Dallas.”
Eleven Dallas ISD high school students are among the semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program, sponsored by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Among them is Hillcrest High School student Jeff Wilke. He is one of 16,000 semifinalists who will compete for approximately 8,200 scholarships worth more than $35 million to be awarded next spring.
