When you stop by Chick-fil-A this week between 2-5 p.m., you’ll not only be receiving a free, no-strings-attached snack — you’ll be receiving a free, no-strings-attached snack from a neighbor.
Jeff White, the operator of the Chick-fil-A at Central Expressway and Southwestern Boulevard, and the one in NorthPark Center’s food court, is a neighborhood resident who also isn’t shy about providing discounts and free food to neighborhood schools and nonprofits. And every afternoon this week, his stores are handing out free snacks: Tuesday, free waffle fries; Wednesday, free small "ice dream" cone; Thursday, free small fruit cup; and Friday, free fudge-nut brownie.
I discovered all of this yesterday, after a trip to the Apple store for some maintenance on an office computer, when I took advantage of a free pack of chicken nuggets. And according to the sign, the offer is good at all Dallas-Fort Worth Chick-fil-A stores this week only, no purchase necessary.
