Start your Saturday morning with a free cappuccino, courtesy of Flavors from Afar. They’ll be offering samples made with Sant’ Eustachio and Cafe del Doge coffees. After you’re all nice and caffeinated, head over to Northaven Gardens for a free 10:30 workshop, where experts will teach you how to start your own herb garden.

There are also a couple of cool cultural events happening at SMU Saturday night:  At the Hughes-Trigg Center there will be a free 6:30 screening of Densha Otoko, a Japanese romantic comedy. And at the McFarlin Auditorium there’s Vindaloo Vandals, an Indian comedy tour.  The show is from 8-10 p.m. and you can get your tickets online.
