So when you’re Tom Hicks and your new back-door neighbor is an ex-president, how do you welcome him to the neighborhood?

Apparently you invite him to throw out the opening day first pitch at your major league baseball team.

The Rangers announced today former President George W. Bush will throw out the first pitch Monday afternoon when the Rangers play the Cleveland Indians at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

It’s the second time Bush has thrown out the first pitch at Rangers’ opening day, but the last time he did it was at the Washington Nationals home opener last year.
