I wrote yesterday about the ties between attendance and state funding in Texas public schools and how the fear of the swine flu plays into all of that.
Simultaneously, I was trying to get some information from DISD on what, if any, attendance changes had occurred over the past week.
According to an official from DISD’s media relations office, the district didn’t see any increased drops in attendance for its schools that remained open.
