It seems frozen yogurt shops are the new coffeehouses: there’s one on just about every corner now. That’s especially true here in Preston Hollow where we’ve had more than half a dozen new frozen yogurt shops staking territory across the street from each other, something I’ve dubbed the ‘yogurt wars.’ The most recent to join the growing ranks is Fresh Berry, which will open at the new Park Lane development in July.

From the looks of Fresh Berry’s website, the menu will offer all-natural frozen yogurt topped with fruit, which sounds a lot like Yogen Fruz, which opens in the Preston Forest Shopping Center this Monay, June 22–and Pink Berry, which is coming here this fall–and Menchies, which is coming to the Preston Royal Shopping Center.

I’ve alreay tried Oragne Cup, I Heart Yogurt, and Gooey’s in our neighborhood–all of which are very similar and good–but it looks like there’s a new batch of yogurt shops for me to sample this summer.
